Kim Dae-jung is president-elect of South Korea. He is a
splendid example of a former jailed dissident who rose to the top.
He founded the Kim Dae-jung Peace Foundation. He is dedicated to
reforming the South Korean government and the way South Korean
corporations do business. He is especially dedicated to peaceful
reunification of the two Koreas. At this time of humanitarian
disaster in the North, financial disaster in the South and the
disastrous military confrontation of the two Koreas, he is the
perfect person to head the effort to save the peoples of both
Koreas from even worse disasters. For focussing on Korean
unification, democratic change in Asia and global peace and for
being elected President of South Korea, Kim Dae-jung has been
