Harry Wu was imprisoned in China for 19 years for the
"crime" of being politically incorrect according to the
dogmas of Mao et al. How peculiar is the idea that prison/torture/brainwashing
can make human beings love freedom less. We in America have our
own surly addiction to mass imprisonment as a means of "correction".
Harry Wu teaches us that communism, socialism, and capitalism can
all be infected with dogmatic control mechanisms which destroy
freedom, justice, democracy and happy social interaction.
Commissars + billionaires = fascism. What we need is a meld of
learning, freedom, democracy, joy and responsibility. Harry Wu is
