Gary Peters is the new Democratic Congressman for the 9th district of Michigan. He is for cutting taxes for the middle class, no subsidies for big oil companies and use the money saved to support alternative energies, cut taxes for small businesses, move auto industries toward better gas mileage and alternative fuels, invest in advanced education for better jobs, responsibly end the war in Iraq, cut wasteful spending and work to balance the budget, guaranteed health care for all Americans, proper health care and benefits for Veterans, aggressively tackle the foreclosure crisis, create fair trade policies that create more jobs, tax cuts for middle class workers, tax relief and other incentives for vibrant small businesses, invest in better infrastructure to benefit transportation and jobs, invest in better schools to create better jobs and a more talented workforce and next generation auto industry, end preditory lending and other schemes that cheat home buyers and others and which created economic catastrophe. He wants to end the massive cheating of home buyers and othes by rich preditors who expanded their bank accounts at the expense of millions of too gullible Americans who were conned into trusting an army of thieves.
