Nancy Kricorian is the Co-ordinator of CODEPINK for New York City and is part of CODEPINK's national staff. She is a writer, a novelist and a member of PEN USA and is on the board of the Armenia Tree Project. She wrote an article on Direct Action and Street Theater. She wrote an article about how Hillary Clinton as a US Senator sent a fund raising letter to her constituants covering many topics but completely ignoring the war in Iraq. Nancy makes it clear that Hillary was with Bush on the Iraq war on every significant war vote which is contrary to the way most of Hillary's NY constituants believed. Nancy and the other CODEPINK people use cheeky, creative campaigns devoted to nonviolent direct action to end the war in Iraq and to end all other wars. She knows that huge media conglomerates control most of the information we see and hear about the world and does her best to get accurate information out to a more knowledgeable public so they can decide to do the right thing. CODEPINK women are angry, smart, strategic and funny. Nancy sees hope in the faces of the women she works with, in her children and in the downward trend of the Republican Party. The Maryland State Police spied on Nancy and other CODEPINK activists and stupidly called them terrorists and wrongly listed them as terrorists.
