Jodie Evans has been a community, social and political organizer for about 30 years. She helps to protect the earth, organize communities, empower the unheard and unseen, protect human rights, protect civil rights, raise minimum wage for farm workers, protect dolphins and champion those working for real democracy. She worked in Jerry Brown's campaigns and in his cabinet. She promotes wind and solar energy. She promotes women's rights. She ran the Hereditary Disease Foundation and founded the Grief Recovery Center. She was a board member of the Women's Campaign Fund and Chair of the federal candidates committee of the Woman's Political Committee. She raised money for women candidates for federal offices and for prochoice groups. She helped found Environmental Media Association. She helped companies solve environmental and social problems and bring social and human values to the work place. She helped open the first environmental department store. She supported public parks in Los Angeles. She supported many activist organizations. She helped Jerry Brown's presidency campaign. She supported numerous other pro-democracy groups and pro-rights groups. Above all, she is a co-founder of CODEPINK and very active in promoting its goals of peace and justice for all worldwide.
