Walter Minnick is the new Democratic Congressman for the 1st district of Idaho, defeating Republican Representative Bill Salis. Minnick is for a better bailout of the bad economy than what Congress passed, one that is not a giveaway to Wall Street and does not leave us open to more economic wrecks from lack of proper economic regulation and is not loaded with pork. He is for saving the national resources from a trainwreck of multiple sources of overconsumtion and overpollution. He is for getting away from obscene amounts of borrowing that can kill the future. He is for ending pork-barrel earmarks. He is for creating a good economy based on many new jobs for many new and worthwhile industries and activity to reduce pollution and other global warming causes. He is for making the USA energy independent and free from tax-dodging millionaires and billionaires. He is for making the education system as good as it can be to increase the amount of good jobs and good sense and more affordable learning. He is for making big oil more responsible to the people who use its products and less greedy in its profits. We need a great variety of energy sources to serve our needs when oil becomes less plentiful. We need to stop the slaughter in the Middle East by ending the policy of war uber alles.
