Mark Warner is the Democrat who will replace the Republican U.S. Senator John Warner of Virginia who is retiring. Mark Warner was Governor of Virginia. He is for an energy policy that invests in renewable energy, eliminates dependency on foreign oil and creates good jobs. He wants to make sure that every American has access to affordable, universal health care coverage including prevention. He wants to begin to bring USA troops home from Iraq and give them better health care. He wants to do a better job of making infrastructure more reliable and safe and faster. He wants faster broadband development for the internet. He wants no American to be left out or left behind. He wants no more Presidents who are stuck in the past and believes that Barack Obama is the right President to get us moving toward a better future. He believes it's not where you came from that counts, it's where you want to go that counts. He wants to make college affordable for everyone who wants to go. We need to win the race for better, cleaner and more effective technology. We need to make the future shine instead of decaying. We need to address all our big problems head-on and make the changes needed for us to survive and thrive.
