Suzanne Kosmas is the Democrat who will replace the Republican U.S. third term Congressman Tom Feeny as Congresswoman for Florida's 24th district. She served 4 terms in the Florida House of Representatives. She created the largest margin of defeat for a Republican incumbent in the 2008 cycle. She is for bringing transparency and integrity back to Congress by fighting for ethical reforms, more openness and transparency, less congressional pay raises, no lobbying after federal office, posting schedules, earmarks and votes on her website and independent ethics enforcement. She wants to limit soft money contributions. She is for balancing the federal budget, lowering housing costs, change course in Iraq by changing policy so that troops can be brought home, a vibrant space program, ethical reforms that put the public first, investing in a stronger and more advanced education for a more vibrant economy, lowering middle class taxes, creating energy independence so we won't have to buy so much polluting and expensive Middle East oil, protecting Social Security from get rich quick scamsters, market fluctuations and other future changes, lowering the cost of prescriptions and other medical costs so that everyone will have access to quality medical care and affordable insurance and protecting troops from injury from aggressive invasions and punative occupations. She is for a smart foreign policy that makes the world more democratic instead of one that bombs folks into submission.
