Judy Baker is the Democratic candidate to replace the current Republican U.S. Congressman for the 9th district of Missouri, Kenny Hulshof. She is for a comprehensive education program at all levels which will create much better educated Americans for a much better America physically, mentally and financially. She is for reforming our energy economy for less pollution and more renewable and more efficient transportation. She wants to reform and improve regulation for energy futures trading and for other forms of trading. She wants to improve health care for veterans and others so it will be affordable for all. Health insurance should travel with each individual so it will be available everywhere and be free from fraud and abuse and neglect. She wants a measured and responsible withdrawal of troops from Iraq in accordance with a coordinated plan with deadlines and stability and smart non-bush diplomacy and global partnerships. She wants to increase jobs with a tax credit for companies that create jobs which would apply to small businesses and large corporations. She would crack down on companies that would inflate prices/losses and that write off losses from moving overseas. She would make a permanent tax credit for research and subsidizing each new American-made job. She wants to do a better job of regulating /controlling immigration.
