General Anthony Taguba is the retired USA Army Major General who led the Army's official investigation into the Abu Ghraib prison abuse scandal. He testified before Congress in 2004 explaining his findings. The Bush/Cheney White House authorized illegal torture techniques and other war crimes related to the Iraq war. The details of the torture are tragic and brutal and inhuman which indicates that all of the authorizers are tragic and brutal and inhuman and criminal and unworthy of their offices. The entire USA/Iraq war is an American war crime and all of its creators should be impeached and prosecuted and jailed so that we can end the entire idea of aggressive war and bring peace and decency at last to the world. The military, intelligence services and the justice system are duty-bound to defend our country but they are not duty-bound to commit aggresive war, invasion, torture and occupation all of which are, in fact, war crimes. We urgently need to prosecute these war crimes so that wars and war crimes can end forever and the duty of lasting peace can be created. Taguba followed his conscience and did what was morally right and his investigators did the same with the result that decent people over the entire world are now aware of American war crimes and wish justice to be served. For doing his duty to bring peace and truth and justice and survival to our nation, General Anthony Yaguba has been named Futuresaver of the Week. Click the links below for more information.
