Albio Sires is the new Democratic Congressman for the 13th District of New Jersey. He wants to increase funding for community colleges to reduce the cost of tuition and other fees. He wants to have ethics reform to reduce the corruption at all levels of government. He wants to end the Iraq war and bring home our troops from there. He wants no more wars based on false ideology, false intellegence and false promises. He wants to reform No Child Left Behind so that there will be truly no children left behind. He wants to shift tax breaks from the wealthiest few to the many needy middle class and lower class folks. He wants to provide greater health care access to all who find it unaffordable. He wants to provide homeland security to the many areas still not covered. He wants a new Administration that is not fixated on helping itself instead of helping regular people. He wants to increase the number of unionized workers. He wants the United States Postal Service to stop contracting out mail delivery services. He thinks Turkey should end its occupation of Cypress. He wants a program to help those who have been ordered overseas and have been unable to make their mortgage payments. He wants to help end the terrible genocide occuring in the Darfur region of Sudan and elsewhere in Africa.
