Louise Slaughter is the Democratic Congresswoman for the 28th district of New York. She supports the arts, Fairness and Accountability in Broadcasting (TV), Community Development, improving the economy, equal access to quality education for all Americans, Reform of Energy Workers Compensation, protecting all of our natural resources and other aspects of the environment including reform of energy creation and use, ending the Iraq war and bringing the troops home by using a timeline and benchmarks and no permanent military bases and Iraqi control of their oil and other resources, improving democracy and human rights through the Organization on Security and Cooperation in Europe's Parliamentory Assembly, improving the climate for small businesses, campaign finance reform for more democracy in elections, Improved health care by using better access for all and more research and less toxic medicines and lower cost medicines and no genetic discrimination and less toxic environments and healthier food/diets and better vaccinations and better care for women/children, better protection for crimes against children and women, better and smarter use of DNA evidence in crime solving and full protection of all Americans from government violations of constitutional civil liberties.
