Steve Kagen is the new Democratic Congressman for the 8th district of Wisconsin. He knows that America lost its way and needs now to find a better way. We must restore faith in our government by having affordable health care for every citizen; by insuring the end of election fraud, the end of lobbyist buying of legislation, creating energy independence and creating a clean and healthy environment. We need to begin real diplomacy to solve intenational problems instead of armed warfare/occupation against other nations. The health system should have: open, uniform pricing of drugs and care and a 300 million strong risk pool for lowest prices. Health insurance would cover everyone for every disorder and there would be minimal and uniform paper/computer work. He knows we must become energy independent based on energy conservation, energy efficiency and renewable energy. We must emit less carbon dioxide and other pollutants and make the proper investments. The Federal Trade Commission must crack down on price-gouging refineries and oil companies. We must reduce weapons of mass destruction globally. We must end the invasion, bombing and occupation of Iraq. American occupation only increases the ongoing religious civil war in Iraq and increases global terrorism. We must negotiate an end to all kinds of warfare in Iraq and elsewhere to end the dumb era of global human warfare.
