One World Supersite is the fourth FUTURESAVER OF THE WEEK
and the first organization to be named. A key step toward saving
the future is to realize that we inhabit just one world, it is in
danger and we need to cooperate with numerous organizations in
various countries to be able to solve our many problems. One
World is an umbrella organization with links to 120+
organizations in many countries. Some of these organizations have
difficulties dealing with dictatorial and narrowminded leadership
in many countries: most national governments need drastic
electoral and other reforms so that most people can believe they
can have some significant say in how the various national regimes
operate. The largest nations need to stop using overt, covert and
violent techniques to control and bully the smaller nations of
the world. And the structure of the United Nations needs to be
modified so the majority of nations can guide the destiny of the
world instead of the present undemocratic control by large
