Mother Jones magazine is the #1 investigative magazine in
the US. The heavily-financed large-circulation mainstream
magazines cannot compete successfully in the investigative area
because they are owned, directed and pressured by some of the
people who most need to be investigated for their corrupt and
undemocratic financial and political activities. Also, Mother
