These days politicians, government officials and corporate officials lie to the people so much and steal from the people so much that it is prudent and sensible to not believe anything they say unless it is accompanied by rock-solid evidence. Only when they get a track record of saying the truth and doing the right thing, can we afford to give them our respect. When something wicked comes this way a global economic collapse is not just possible, it becomes inevitable.
