Configure AOL to Play Midi Music
These are instructions to play the Midi music files. The instructions work
for Windows95 and AOL version 3.0. First make sure you have a Midi player
installed in your Win95. The one that comes with it, is mplayer.exe. It should
be located in your Windows directory. You can make sure by going to your task
start button and use the "find files" feature. Once you know where that file
is stored, do the following after you start AOL up.
1. Click member (top of screen)
2. Click preferences
3. Click WWW
4. Click helper applications
5. Scroll and find content type audio/midi
6. Click modify and browse to the directory where the mplayer.exe is and
click on it.
7. Click ok and go back to your internet window (this page)
That's it! You should be ready to hear Santa's Christmas Music. Now click
Selections and enjoy. Oh yes, one more hint. When
you want to hear another selection (book mark the selections page), close the player and
click on aother selection.
