Just a few hours ago I saw that Jack Kervorkian "Dr. Death" has been convicted of second degree murder for helping some man kill himself. It's about time! This man has killed 130 people and said that he was helping them. Is this man not a medical doctor or has he forgotten the Hippocratic Oath like all those abortion doctors? If somebody's will to live to weak then you should not help those people kill themselves. I know that many of those people were in a great deal of pain, but that does not excuse the fact that he probably performed the act that killed the person in many of the cases. The one that was taped showed him pushing the button that started the lethal injection. If he had let the victim set up the aparatus and push the button himself it would have been suicide, but this was definitely murder.
It may seem heartless to allow people to suffer through something that will kill them anyway, but then if a victim of a chronic illness wants to die then they should stop their treatments and let it happen a lot faster. People should not be helping these people kill themselves. If they want to do that very selfish thing then they should do it on their own and not with anyone else's help.
If you are feeling low or are suffering then remember there is still someone out there somewhere that cares about you and will miss you. I know that it may seem that nobody cares, but somebody does. You need to think of them rather than yourself. It very likely could be selfishness that has made you depressed. Suicide would just be the easy way out and be the ultimate act of selfishness.
