Dreameater
the killing moon shining through the dark cloak of the night
its demonic light casting misfortune to those down below
one last breath and souls asunder
infernal irony for the seekers of dreams
sleepless slumber and hopeless desires
the Dreameater devours all that esteem
the sound of silence soon salvages swiftly
the drifting remains of the doomed dreamers
the killing moon having completed its duty
retracts to its nest as the sun awakens
another restless night for the insomniacs
who tonight still await for their chance to dream
