Lament

she weeps a gentle lament
but no other hears her
her hand reaches far out
Do you see?
sorrow in her eyes
fear in her heart
Can you see?
i tend mine to hers
but she is blind too
Can you stay here?
and yet she smiles
beautiful and serene
i gaze into her soul
Will you stay with me?
how lovely she is
Will you?
