Notes

- D Vuong appears as a waitress at the Nightscape Bar & Lounge in scenes 19 and 30. If you recall, she was also a
waitress at the Skyline Lounge in Snow Peak Lodge, but in that dream she was herself. In this one, the waitress
is only a background character and has no interactions with me.

- Although Yamaka sounds Japanese, the family we visit in scenes 21-22 is Chinese. I do not actually know any
person or family who bears that name in the real world.

- In scene 39, Max, in all his drunkenness, proudly reveals his ill intents. In order to control her, he has slipped a
substance in one of thu's drinks that subdued her. His goal was to seduce her and make her believe that I am
evil and don't really care for her. When Dan asks him why he did this, Max only answers, "Because I can!" with
a develish smirk on his face. Paul and Mani hold me back as I try to fight Max.

- As Max begins to rant about his so-called brilliant plan, Bushi and other friends try to make thu snap out of his
control. After a few attempts, they somehow manage to do so, and she hears the end of Max's speech. Upon
realizing what has happened, thu storms into the room and yells, "You won't get between us!". Max then gets
   scolded by everyone still present.

- In scene 41, thu apologizes to me for how she has behaved, but knowing what had been going on (and since it is
thu), I do not hold it against her. She does not verbally ask me to take her home; rather, it is the expression in
her eyes that say so. I ask her, "Do you want me to take you home?". She takes my hand, looks away, and nods
as she simply utters a soft but sweet "Uh huh."

- The last five scenes are a bit of a parody and diverge from the theme that had reigned for the rest of the dream.
Here we find me, thu, Paul, Dan, Mani, Gu, Mieko-chan, and of course Max (sorry Arash!) in chibi versions, on the
outskirts of Tokyo (please note that I have never been to Tokyo, let alone Japan), playing some shooting game
and doing target practice. Max is still angry that his plan failed, but for some reason everyone has forgiven him
(although a few remain suspicious of his motives). Mani takes his turn at shooting, then asks who wants to be
next, upon which Max yells out, "Me, me!". Dan whispers to Mani, "I don't know if that is such a good idea", but
Mani reassures him, "Oh, don't worry! He's not that bad!". Mani hands Max the rifle, and immediately, Max shoots
Mani and takes off, running into Tokyo. Luckily, Mani is only hit in the shoulder, and Dan gives him a sarcastic
"I told you so!". While Dan and Gu tend to Mani's wound, thu and I, and Paul and Mieko-chan chase after Max
in teams of two, going separate ways.
