TinyVibrator use popular coin Lithium cell battery, CR2032 (3V). This battery is already on my old PalmPilot Pro for about 10 months, with short vibration duration (2 second) every hour, and long vibration duration (10 seconds) every morning. Approximation life for one cell is about 1 year.
The main component for TinyVibrator is small motor (1.5-3vDC) with massive metal on its rotor. You can find it at pager, handphone, or any small devices that can vibrates. The motor size is about 22mm(length) x 6mm(diametre).
TinyVibrator is another version of TaleVibes (another great vibrator device from Tech Center Labs ). All software for activating TaleVibes can be used for TinyVibrator.
But, TinyVibrator is only for Pilot/PalmPilot model. Although the electrical connection is full compatible with the PalmIII or PalmIIIx, mechanical for tinyVibrator is not. PalmIII form factor have a spring that will push TinyVibrator out of Palm port.
I will try to make another version of TinyVibrator for PalmIII and PalmIIIx. TinyVibrator is "do it yourself". I am not making a unit for sell, because I don't have enough time to developt is as a mass production. And, I don't have any source that can provide me a very good price for vibrator motor and pilot connector.
