Riding in Italy
Riding in Italy is as easy as riding a cbr 600 !
First of all you need a bike: it's easy to buy one, but
it's more expensive than in the USA ! I.e. here an Honda cbr 600 f3 costs 18,600,000 Italian lire, that is about 11,500 u.s. dollars !Than you need a driving license and this isn't a problem: it's very easy to obtain one. At sixteen years old you can get your license but you can drive maximum a bike of 125 c.c.; at eighteen you can drive what you want.(even a cbr 1100 xx !?!)
The weather is OK for motorbiking, it doesn't rain often here and from March to October the temperature is over 20 C. During the Winter it can go under 0 C (the average is 5-10) and sometimes it snows, but I'm strong and so I drive all the year !
The speed limit is 50 kph in the cities 90 out and 130 in the motorways, but I have never observed them; my average is 100 in the city 150 out and 200 in the motorways. Oh yes , there are policemen and speed traps, but it's very difficult to catch a speed fine; I got only one in 10 years of motorbiking, and I never observe the limit ! So this country is quite OK for using a cbr at his full power.
