O SON OF MAN!

Upon the tree of effulgent glory I have hung for thee the choicest fruits, wherefore hast thou turned away and contented thyself with that which is less good? Return then unto that which is better for thee in the realm on high.

The Bahá'í World

The Office of Public Information is pleased to announce the launching of the Bahá'í International Community's World Wide Web site, "The Bahá'í World". The site represents the official presence of the Bahá'í Faith on the Web. It provides those interested in learning about the Bahá'í Faith with a comprehensive body of authentic material, attractively presented and illustrated. Major sections of the site include a detailed introduction to the Central Figures and Institutions of the Faith, an overview of basic Bahá'í beliefs and practices, articles highlighting aspects of Bahá'í community life and the perspectives of individual believers, and a repository of the Bahá'í International Community's documents that present the Bahá'í vision for the advancement of society.

The Web site will be expanded on a continual basis. Future additions will feature Bahá'í activities in the arena of social and economic development, and will offer Bahá'í perspectives on current global trends and movements of social change. An archive of the "One Country" newsletter is also being developed.

The intention is that the site will be multilingual, beginning with English, French and Spanish.
