What is a webring?
A webring is a group of web pages with a similar theme all linked together.
A link on each page allows you to visit the next page in the ring. Visiting
every page in the ring in sequence will eventually bring you back to the page
from which you started, hence the 'ring' effect of the links. Since all of
the ring pages are linked to each other, you can enter the ring from any page
and still have access to all of the other pages in the ring.
This particular webring is a group of pages which are primarily aimed
towards a WebTV audience.
Pages in this ring follow these simple
guidelines:
- Since this is the 'Optimized for WebTV' webring, the pages in the ring
should be primarily directed towards a WebTV audience.
- This does not mean that the pages need to be ABOUT WebTV. Make your
page about any subject in which you have an interest.
- Many people enjoy having their page contain WebTV specific traits, such
as the sidebar found on this page. If you are interested in WebTV specific
HTML tags, please consult the WebTV HTML reference.

- Index- This will show a list of the pages currently in the ring.
- Queue- This will show a list of the pages currently in the 'queue' or
waiting list to be placed in the ring.
- Join- If you wish to have your page in the ring, this is the first step.
This form will place your page in the queue.
- Code- This page shows a sample of the 'Optimized webring control panel'
and the HTML code necessary to implement it.
- Add- Once you have placed your page in the queue and added the necessary
HTML code to your page, fill out this form. This form is a request to move your
page from the queue and onto the actual ring.
- Edit- This form allows ring members to edit information about their
particular pages.
- Logo- This is the 'Optimized for WebTV' logo. If possible, download
the logo from here and place it on your own page.
- Feedback- This form is for general comments, questions or suggestions.
