Technical informations about german WW2 tanks

to the technical archive!
(new data in
red)

For explanation of columns ... first read rest of this page!

Since I am building the kits of german tanks, I was always interested in the technology of the real tanks. Especially since the number of different developments in tank building was enourmous, it is difficult to keep up the survey of all tanks and their technical informations.
In the table I listed the most used tank-types and entered all data which I found in different books, mainly from "Encyclopedia of german tanks of WW2" and some books from Walter Spielberger.
Now I have a favour to ask of you: If YOU got informations where there are blanks in my table, or you think a data information is wrong, or you think that another vehicle should be added, then PLEASE write an e-mail to me and tell me the new/correct data and please tell me the reference, where you found that information!!!
THANKS in advance!

But now on to the information table ... the table is quite big (about 44kb), so please be patient while loading!!
Please note the following: Because of the large table I made ONE table for german and english users ... unfortunately the column headers are in german, so here's the translation:

Important hint! At the bottom of the table is a small window (only Internet Explorer) in which a photo of a tank will appear, when you klick on a Panzer-name-link!
NOTE: If you have better pictures of single tanks, or pictures of tanks I don't have, please let me know!!!
