Well ... you really wanna know about me ... ok!!
Ok, lets see ... on the left you can see a picture ... the one in the middle is me ... the others are two nodding acquaintances from Domenican Republic!!!
Hmmm, what can I tell you about me??? Yes, my name is Thomas (easy to see cause you are on Thomas' Homepage (your web browser says so)
I was born on 13th March 1972 in Bremen, Germany, and I am since then a proud inhabitant of the free and hanse town BREMEN! Even that we are leading in west-germany in unemployment rate ...
After 13 funny years at school I successfully made my school-leaving examination at the secondary school *applause*, and decided derictly after that to go to the army for the basic military service of 12 months. But after that year I have'nt got a university place and because I had a good (and interesting!!) job at the medical corps in the army I decided to stay another year and earn some more money!!!
After that 2 years I finally got a university place for studying biology in ... Darmstadt!!! That is 520km south of my hometown!! Fortunately I found another place on my own in Oldenburg, which is only 40km from my home and about 100 times better and cosy as the technical university in Darmstadt! Especially since we natural scientists have an own part of the university which is parted from the main university, what means that there is not much traffic, no overfilled dining-hall and going from one lecture to another takes 2 minutes on foot and not like in Darmstadt 30 minutes with the bicycle!
Well, since October 1993 I'm studying Biology and now I can see the end coming nearer ... I'm very interested in Immunology, but also Neurobiology is very interesting to me!
Ok, thats all for the moment ... you know, if you got questions, remarks or something to criticize ... simply write a mail!

By many requests I will now show some more images of me ... so have fun!!
Ok ... what do we see here?? Ahhh, yesss ... if I remember correct this is from June 1998 where I tested the new helmet of the german troops. Very funny thing, it was a day where everybody could go to the armycamp and view the things presented. At that time I was still totally drunken from the day before ... I really had a lot of fun!!! ;)
Unfortunately I wasn't able to articulate correct, so most of the soldiers didn't understand what I babbled ... well, at that time I decided to drink two or three more beer to delight myself!!
I think there isn't more to tell you about this picture!!
This is a photo which is a bit older ... I think it was around the end of 1994. So you see me here in "Clockwork Orange"-clothing in my favourite pub! Err, ok, meanwhile it isn't no longer my favourite pub but this is another story!!
On that day we had a lot attention in the pub and it wasn't easy to enjoy our pints of Kilkenny ... what you could'nt see on the picture are my two other "Droogs" Ohrmin and FF of which the last one wasn't the master of his body that evening, so he was many times on the toilet, puking out his gut ... :-)
Here we have a photo from June 1997 ... myself as showing my sectional pride (flag of Bremen) on a service area in Eastern Germany!! I think it was on the return from Berlin (our capital city) where we had excessive party (although there is no nice beer brewed in Berlin). So the can in my hand wasn't a beer-can .. no, it was a can of Cherry-Coke!!
Nevertheless we decided to pose for some pictures just because of the McDonalds in the background where we always stop when coming back from Berlin. One funny thing there is the working speed of the McDonalds guys and girls ... they're sooo slow!!! very fascinating!
Again a very typical picture of me ... with a beer in my hand. Fortunately it's the good old Beck's Beer from Bremen!! The photo was taken on the annual SKA-Festival in Potsdam (near Berlin) in 1998, where I had this year the pleasure to meet "Sonne" (sun) from IRC! The real sun was hardly seen this year so most of the time rain fell down!!!!
But we as real Northern-Germany guys have also fun in the rain, cause thats the main weather here!!! Nevertheless I would be very happy to see lots of hot sun on the SKA-Festival in 1999!!!
Oh, one last thing ... "thanks" to the idiots which threw our flag in the dirt and put all other things there into our barbecue grill where the things burnt ... you're bastards!!
Ok, we'll come to the end of the picture show although there are lots more of funny pictures of me, but showing all those would be too much. this photo was taken in spring/summer of 1998 in Hannover where the Summer SKA-Jam happened!! A very nice open air concert with lots of good SKA-bands. Ohrmin and me were able to avoid the entrance-fee of 30,-DM ... I just say: backstage entrance ;)
The both girls we had with us (Esther and Maria) went straight in and paid the money, cause they urgently had to go to the toilet!! meanwhile Ohrmin and me had some beer, which we brought with us, drove into the city to eat something and planned how to get in the concert area without paying so much money!
Well the night in the car also was very funny, although Maria laid on the backseat of the car on my lap and was rotating like a cockerel in the grill ... my attempt to stop her by putting my hand on her breast was totally misunderstood the next day ;-))) but that is also another story!!!
A newer photo at home with a cool can of beer .... hehehe, what else. But it's the best at hot weather!!
Well, here you can see me on the boat-tour which took place in the summer of 2000 while the "Potsdamer SKA-Festival". This tour always is on saturday of the festival. but the last years we always missed it ... this year we were right on time and we found lots of funny and drunken people and really fine weather. It began with a chaotic bus trip (the bus driver really hated us!) followes by a nice barbeque/alcohol-drinking at a "pub" directly by a small river and ended with a ship-tour along the rivers of Potsdam! We sung dinking (and other perverted) songs (curious why parents with their children left the place on the ship where we were) and I must say: Next year AGAIN (even if that SKA-Festival had a personal tragic background story for me ... but that is (again) another story)!!!
But now for something completely different ... hehehe ... me drinking a beer!!!! Just joking, this is a nice view within my hometown. This is on a rebuilt old ship from the time of Hanse Town (like Bremen is) in the 14th century. Since I like ships very much and this lies in the heart of Bremen on the "Weser" (which is the river runnning through Bremen) and it has a very maritimic flair we have to enter the ship. We found that this is very cosy and they serve there fresh BECK's beer, so we could'nt resist to take a few and this is how this photo was taken!!
