NOTE TO PARENT
I want the very best learning climate possible for your child. Your interest and support is extremely important. At any time you wish to check on your child’s progress, you should call 817-547-7201 and arrange a time for a phone or personal conference with me. Whenever possible, please give me 24 hours notice that you would like a conference and leave a message informing me of the nature of your concerns so that I can be better prepared to answer your questions. Your child is expected to keep his or her notebook current with all daily assignments, lab reports, tests, and notes. Ask to see this notebook periodically.
I am looking forward to a very good year and I hope that I can count on you to encourage your child to do his/her very best. It is imperative to your child’s success in physics that he/she not miss class except in dire emergencies. Students with frequent absences seldom experience any degree of success in physics. Also, if you notice that your child is in need of help, please encourage him/her to come to tutorials for extra help.
Again, my voice mail number is: 817-547-7201
