Comments: The Septuagint is NOT the OT, but rather the Law. Neither the Prophets or the Writing(s) were translated into the Greek. Also there are several variations on the Septuagint as the 72 scholars never did quite agree on the details. Otherwise, I agree, the loss of the library at Alexandria is one from which the world will never recover.
