Teamwork:
3 years project team member; member of the systems and network maintenance group at the Research Institute for Symbolic Computation.

Assistant to the project manager (directed team meetings, organized work groups).

Gave university lectures, held talks at international conferences, organized and presented a workshop, published scientific papers, presented project results at technical fairs.

5 years of mathematical research in the course of a PhD program.

Wide knowledge of mathematics (algebra, analysis, mathematical foundations of computer science, mathematical logic, numerical mathematics, probability theory and statistics, symbolic computation) from 6 years of master's degree study.

Research in symbolic computation (esp. computer algebra) and numerical computation (esp. solving systems of nonlinear equations) during 5 years of PhD study.

International exposure:
6 years of study at the Research Institute for Symbolic Computationin Hagenberg, Austria. The working language at the institute is English, professors and students come from approx. 15 different countries in Europe, Asia, and North America. 3 years of work in a project with team members from 7 European countries.
Organization:
Member of the support and organization teams of 3 international conferences (DISCO'93, PASCO'94, IMACS'96).
Administration:
Project secretary for ESPRIT Project #7195 and FWF Project #P9374-PHY; assisted in writing of the proposals and handled the regular financial and scientific reports to the sponsoring organizations (EU DG 13 and Austrian FWF).
