Mr
Benson Goes Faster
Mr Benson on seeing 'The Boss' transported by vintage perambulation
(last issue) has gone one better. He was seen 'cruising' in a Triumph Stag.
This vehicle can be counted as classic, but his usual Scimitar is the preferred
mode. Mr 'W' agreed and, quote, "Didn't see him in
a 'Hairdressers' car" -it was up for sale apparently.

Washington Cadets
'Strike Up the Band'
Usworth
cadets were instrumental in an event to celebrate the millenium.Together with
238 squadron they formed a band. This provided music throughout the day at the
Hylton Castle grounds. The castle is said to be haunted by the 'Caad Lad'.
(This may explain events in our next issue -
see below)
Other cadets hit the right note with the 'Helicopter Simulator' - which attracted
a large crowd of eager pilots. The squadron caravan also had its first outing
- as did the 'CoolDudes' -a team of misfits who attempted to win the 'Its a
knockout' competition. (they were knocked out)
