When the doctor is later suspected of insurance fraud, Jerry must figure a way to save his friend's reputation and career. The Truth After a tortuous evening with a new girlfriend, George tells her they should stop seeing each other. He then makes the mistake of accommodating her when she insists on hearing the reason. Meanwhile, Elaine bites her lip as Kramer's wild romance with her roommate heats up. The Dog Jerry is stuck at home when he gets roped into dog-sitting a rambunctious hound. In a flashback to when Jerry and George were teens in high school, Jerry attempts to recall exactly when he returned the book in question. The Pen Jerry and Elaine visit Jerry's parents in Florida. At dinner, Jerry admires a special astronaut's pen owned by one of the association members. When Jerry accepts it as a gift, he starts a mountain of tension with his folks, who feel Jerry should have refused. The Parking Garage Jerry and his friends get lost in a parking garage. The Cafe Noticing that few people stop to eat at a certain small neighborhood cafe, Jerry feels sorry for the owner and stops in to suggest ways of increasing business which causes the restaurant to do even worse. Meanwhile, George agrees to take an I.Q. test as part of his girlfriend's research project and then fears she'll find out he's not as smart as he's been saying he is. The Tape Jerry frantically tries to identify the mystery woman who anonymously whispered naughty suggestions into the tape recorder he used to record his stand-up comedy act. But when Elaine confides to George that the voice was hers, George sees her in a more sensual light! Hoping to impress her, he procures an ancient Chinese potion guaranteed to grow hair. The Nose Job Jerry is torn between his libido and his brain when he debates whether to continue dating a sexy, gorgeous but self-centered and witless model. Meanwhile, George can't help staring at the unusually large nose of an otherwise attractive women he's been seeing. The Alternate Side No sooner does Elaine tell Jerry the virtues of dating an older man than she decides to break up with her 66-year-old beau a split made more complicated when he has a heart attack in front of Jerry's apartment. The Boyfriend While performing his comedy act, Jerry meets Keith Hernandez (as himself), the former New York Mets All-Star and one of Jerry's favorite baseball players. But Jerry finds himself competing for his new pal's time with Elaine, who has caught Keith's eye. And shameless George will do anything to extend his unemployment benefits, including dating a bureaucrat's plain-looking daughter. The Fix-Up Against their better judgment, Jerry and Elaine decide to play matchmaker for the jobless, dateless and possibly hopeless George, setting him up with a single friend of Elaine's. The Limo When George's car breaks down at the airport, Jerry coolly convinces a waiting limo driver that they are his intended passengers. Their clever ruse turns ominous, however, when they learn the real client is a neo-Nazi and they're en route to a rally where violent protesters are eager to get their hands on their quarry. Meanwhile, George flees town when he has an affair with the wife of a belligerent husband whose revenge knows no bounds. The Letter Jerry's new girlfriend gives his friends Elaine, George and Kramer prime VIP seats to a Yankees baseball game. But when the trio is tossed out for a minor altercation, Jerry backs up his friends and calls it quits with the woman until she woos him back with a piece of plagiarized prose. The Parking Space As Jerry settles in to watch a boxing match on TV, George and Elaine return with his borrowed car and concoct a wild story to explain why it's developed a clanking noise. George and Jerry are unaware that their wayward friend is in trouble as a victim of mistaken identity. Meanwhile, George bothers every celebrity he encounters. In Part Two Jerry and George try to clear Kramer of the murder charge. The Pitch/The Ticket Jerry and George propose to write a television series. Newman blames Kramer for his speeding ticket; Jerry and George are offered a deal at NBC. The Virgin A procrastinating Jerry and George strain to think of an idea for a TV series just hours before meeting with impatient network honchos. The Visa Jerry takes pity on a poor foreigner whose important immigration papers were mistakenly left in his unopened mail box. But the luckless man swears vengeance when he is hustled away for deportation back to his native country. Down the hall, a resourceful Kramer returns from his fantasy baseball camp after having punched out his idol, Mickey Mantle. The Movie A comedy of errors kicks in when Jerry is frustrated in his attempts to squeeze in two comedy appearances on opposite sides of town while shadowed by a pesky fellow comedian. Later, Jerry's bad timing continues when he has to rendezvous for a movie with George, Elaine and Kramer who are all in different orbits looking for seats as well as each other. The Outing When an eavesdropping college reporter mistakenly prints that Jerry and George are intimate longtime companions, Jerry vainly works overtime to prove his straightness. And when the big-city newspapers pick up the story, Jerry has a lot of explaining to do to his overwrought parents. The Shoes Jerry and George scramble to keep their feeble idea for a TV series alive when they meet with a skeptical TV executive who catches them eyeing his teenage daughter's cleavage. Across town, Kramer begins dating Jerry's ex-girlfriend, a chef who becomes obsessed with possessing Elaine's fashionable shoes. The Old Man Good Samaritans Jerry, George and Elaine volunteer to comfort and assist senior citizens in their homes. Unfortunately, Jerry is assigned to a nasty old cuss who he loses on the streets thanks to Kramer's intrusion while George depresses an elderly man and Elaine has equally devastating problems as well. The Implant Jerry dumps a girlfriend because she has breast implants. The Handicap Spot Jerry and George narrowly avoid a public stoning after George parks his father's car in a handicapped spot inciting an angry mob to trash the vehicle when a disabled woman is injured as a result of the illegal parking. The Glasses George's stolen glasses set off a bizarre chain of events. The Sniffing Accountant Worried about their investments, Jerry, Kramer and Newman search for clues to determine if their accountant's unexplained sniffle could be related to something he may have snorted. The Bris Jerry and Elaine agree to be godparents to a couple's newborn boy, but they're apprehensive about the duties they must perform at the baby's first religious ceremony. The Raincoats (1 hour) Kramer's money-making scheme to sell vintage raincoats designed by Jerry's dad backfires when Morty has to depend on his Florida neighbor, Jack Klompus, to get the goods to New York. Inspired by Kramer's idea, George sells his dad's old duds to a second-hand store without asking permission. Elsewhere, George's mom and dad feel snubbed when Jerry's parents pass up their invitation for a night on the town with Elaine and her exceedingly friendly boyfriend, Aaron. The Opposite George's new date is so impressed with his display of bravery that she has her uncle set him up with a job interview with the owner of the New York Yankees which he lands. Kramer is asked to appear on Live With Regis and Kathie Lee to promote his new coffee table book where he mars his appearance by spitting coffee on Kathie Lee. Jerry claims that his life always seem to be able to even itself out. Elaine tests his theory by throwing Jerry's $20 out the window which George arrives in hand with a few minutes later. Meanwhile, Elaine sets off a chain of embarrassing events at her office which brings down Pendant Publishing and jeopardizes the future of Kramer's book, making Elaine realize that she has become George. The Hamptons George fears the naked truth. On a weekend visit to the Hamptons, George fears that Jerry's girlfriend, Rachel, might give his girlfriend an inaccurate description of the glimpse she caught of George while he was standing cold, wet and naked after a dip in the ocean. Meanwhile, Elaine is baffled when a handsome doctor refers to her as breathtaking, the same term he uses to describe an ugly baby. The Sixth Season The Chaperone When Kramer serves as chaperon during Jerry's date with Miss Rhode Island, he convinces the beauty queen that he should be her personal consultant as she prepares for the Miss America Pageant. Elsewhere, Elaine's Communist boyfriend persuades Kramer to fight for his rights as a department-store Santa. George gets a date through a personal ad in a Communist newspaper and is summoned to his boss' office when rumors spread about his politics. The Scofflaw Jerry and George's mutual friend, Gary Fogel uses a purported bout with a disease to get sympathy from an unsuspecting Jerry. Elsewhere, Kramer gets in the way of the law when he ruins an officer's chance to nab a longtime scofflaw. The Kiss Hello The 100th episode: Jerry decides to stop the practice of greeting acquaintances with a kiss, putting him at odds with Elaine's physical therapist friend, Wendy, who always expects a friendly buss.
