I
was always kind of hyper as a kid. I was always looking for something to
get into. When I was two or three, I was always taking something apart.
My parents got me a guitar for my twelfth birthday and that kept me busy
mostly until now. I played in bands for money ever since about six months
after I got the guitar. I played all through Jr. High and High School.
I also played in bands while in the Air Force and college. I have had a
home recording studio for the last fifteen years. I have a Teac Tascam
80-8 recorder and a Model 5 Mixer. I am left handed and all my guitars
are special made for me. I have a Guild X-500 hollow body jazz guitar,
a Guild D-35 acoustic guitar, a Fender Telecaster bass, a '69 Gibson SG,
and my pride and joy, a Ramirez classical guitar. I also have a wide variety
of processors. I write and record songs in the studio often. I recorded
and produced a tape of ten original songs a few years ago. It was played
on the local radio stations for about a year. All of my songs are sacred.
They may be rock, jazz, folk, or classical but the lyrics are always about
something in the Bible. My favorite songs that I write are a mixture of
these styles. The beat and bass lines are rock, the accompaniment is classical,
the leads are jazz, and the vocals are folk. My early influences were Clapton
and Hendrix. Later it was the Allman Brothers, Yes, Kansas, and Jethro
Tull. In college I was exposed to jazz and classical. My favorite jazz
players are Chic Corea and Al DiMiola. The classical master I enjoy most
is Agustin Barios Mangore from Paraguay. My classical guitar teacher
was from Paraguay also. His name was Sila Godoy and he studied with Mallo
Lopez and the legendary Andres Segovia. Sila is the teacher who introduced
me to the music of Barrios. If you need equipment or advice, check out

My other interest is reading. I have a few catagories that are passions of mine. One area is the unification of forces which involves the resolution of quantum mechanics and relativity. Einstein spent the later years of his life trying to disprove quantum mechanics. The evidence is irrefutable in favor of quantum mechanics. Transistors, radio, television and numerous other modern inventions depend on it. The only hope that I have seen to justify both these theories is in higher dimensions. Just as Einstein had to add the fourth dimension, time, to relativity to justify it, relativity and quantum mechanics may be justified in ten dimensions. These attempts to unify all forces are sometimes referred to as TOE's (Theory Of Everything) or GUT's (Grand Unified Theory). Some other areas of interest are books about time, chaos theory (which includes fractal geometry), complexity, and anything that is about advances in technology. One other area that I study extensively is Fuzzy Logic. I have several tutorials on the subject and I am currently taking a class called Fuzzy Logic and Neuro-Fuzzy Applications. These are some interesting sites on Fuzzy Logic, and fractals:
