The Gulfstream V is the first business aircraft able to fly more than 6500 nautical miles with a full load of 4 crew and 8 passengers. That means the G-V can fly non-stop from New York to Tokyo or from London to Bejiing. The G-V has been flight tested up to altitudes of 56,000 feet and speeds up to Mach 0.96. The G-V program is the proud recipient of the prestigious 1997 Collier Trophy awarded for excellence in aviation.
