Biographical Information

Let's start from the beginning. My name is Krishna Kumar Mehra. I was born on the 20th of January, 1980. My parent's names are Siddha Kumar Mehra and Meena Mehra. I have two sisters - one older 'Sona' and the younger 'Mona'. I live in Calcutta though my birth city was Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh. (I hope you aren't getting bored).

I am a 15 year old boy studying in Don Bosco School, Calcutta, India. I am presently studying in class X and quite enjoy my life out here (though I have to bear with some pollution among other oddities).

Personal Interests

Net surfing: The net is so interesting. There is no end to information available on the net. Moreover you can get any information you want just by the click of a mouse( strictly speaking, I would prefer to go to a library and do my search than to have my entire lunch sitting in front of my computer waiting for the web page to appear). The only problem is searching - enter "Chaos software" in the search engine and you will be rewarded with a page containing the reasons for chaos in Jordan after the King's death( don't try it it was just an example). I also love to follow links in the web pages. These hyper links just make life just a little easier for me. So you are saved from searching after all. Check out my hot list for some of my favourite links. Another use of the net is e-mail. At least ten(yes, ten(10)) people access their e-mail accounts from my computer. And the cost involved in sending these e-mails is overwhelmingly low.
Reading: Being a publisher's son it was natural for me to be interested in reading. I and my sister have inherited this hobby from my grand father, Mr. D.Mehra, who used to read almost six to eight hours a day. I am more interested in reading fiction unlike my sister who likes reading classics( yes, those 10th century ones). My favourite authors are Captain W.H.Johns, the author of the Biggles series, Alistair Maclean, and Jack Higgins and a relatively new addition is Frederick Foresyth. Among Maclean's books I liked Guns of Navarone, The Golden Gate, Fear is the key, The Golden Rendezvous, and Night Without end. I also like reading the mythological texts and stories, if I can get one. Besides, reading comics and magazines are also among my likes.
Watching T.V.: All teenagers like watching television. I am no exception. I am glued to the T.V. set whenever there is a cricket match going on. I also like watching serials, among which Saans aired on Star T.V. is my favourite. I like watching comedies and also the documentaries, reports and programmes shown on Discovery, National Geographic and other infotainment channels.
Travelling: I just love travelling-be it the snow-capped cliffs of the himalayas or the deserts of Rajasthan, I am always ready to go.
