It's very dark here. Keep close and don't let that torch go out! we are standing in a long hall. The walls are damp. Can you smell the mildew? I hear the sound of dripping water and faint squeaking noises. I don't want to spend any more time here than we have to. I see an alcove ahead. What, what is this, it looks like  some kind of engraved tablet. Wipe the slime off and see if ...yes I can read it. It says
"Thou shalt not enter nor further pass until thy grade improves in class.
Find  a place where manatees swim, bookmark the sight and enter in,
E-mail your teacher the URL and you will have done very well."

Jeesh, guess we can't get any further until we find a manatee sight. That's pretty easy though. I bet this journey gets harder, a lot harder... let's break up and meet here in a few days to proceed. Don't forget to e-mail  Mrs. R.what you find.

Welcome! It's been a long time since last we met here in this eerie place. I hope you've had a good rest. I have a feeling we'll  need it for the next leg of this journey.
O.k. we've  found the manatee sight, the first task in this quest. You, you seem to be GLOWING! oh wow, oh my gosh your hand is-- it's illuminated like a torch, a beautiful glowing light!
It seems to be moving slowly forward toward the wall. Don't do it! Don't touch the tablet ! It's so gross! Can't you hear me? Are you in some kind of trance? NO! Your hand seems to fit perfectly into this mysterious hand print in the wall. The  wall is opening! COOL! The wall has fallen away and we're standing in a large cold inner room. There is a strange book here. Bring the torch. Are you o.k. now? You look so strange. Look out! That giant Raven just swooped down and he's opening the book! It's on page 1,253. It says:
" Mysteries abound. Danger is all around. Wherever there are answers  more questions can be found. You have completed the first task of many, now gird up your courage and reap knowledge aplenty. On a yellowed page is a clue me thinks.. look for the message that takes you to links. Across the ocean is a place of great knowledge, home country of Oxford and Cambridge (a college). Here is your mystery: once the country you've found, to its greatest museum where collections abound, go to a monstrous mystery sight, read all the clues and answer them right. Then E-mail your teacher the correct reply: Is  the skull for real?? Yes? No? and Why."
Gee this is tough.  READ ALL THE CLUES IN THE BOOK! Something about going to a sight where there is a skull and whether or not it's real? Good luck!
