The Australian Air Force display an F-111 at Toronto. The pilot dumps fuel out the back, which is ignited by the engines. It makes for a pretty interesting picture!

The F/A-18 Hornet is used by the CAF, and is a regular attendee to the airshow circuit. The third photo is a US F-18. The Canadian and the Australian Hornets have a "canopy" silhouette painted on the bottom of the plane opposite the real canopy.

The F-14 Tomcat. This is my favourite military jet. This jet just looks powerfull just sitting on the ground! This aircraft was made famous to many as the star of Top Gun. I first noticed it in the movie "The Final Countdown", with Martin Sheen, and the pilots of VF-84, the Jolly Rogers.

The British/German/Italian Tornado. This was a RAF visitor to the Toronto Airshow.

The CAF F-5 Freedom Fighter. This one was celebrating the 419 Tactical Fighter (Training)Squadron.

The AV-8B Harrier, from the USMC. This is the new version of the original British Harrier, with all sorts of new technology from the United States. Both Britain and the US use this version in service.

The F-16 Fighting Falcon. This is from the USAF, and many nations around the world use this aircraft.
