Nearly every year, the Ministry of Natural Resources would have a display showing the capabilities of its water bomber fleet at fighting forest fires. John Shulz, in his Hughes 500 would light the raft, and then the fleet would attack. It was always an impressive display.
This is the CL-215, a dedicated water bomber developed by Canadair.

Just an aside. Most of the pictures I took were from BOSS CONTROL. This was the control centre of the airshow at Toronto. My father was a part of the airshow for many years, and this allowed me access to this area. |
