On July 16th 1969 at the Kennedy Space center FL, Apollo 11 was on the launch pad waiting to make a historical trip to the moon.  Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Micheal Collins are the three
men who are will make the history books.

At 09:32:00 am EDT the Apollo 11 Rocket blasted off and was making its way in to space. It was a 3 day trip to the moon and in this time the insruments were checked and the astronauts were
enjoying the feeling of being out in space on there way to the moon.  Micheal Collins would wait in the Apollo comand module and Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin would take the lunar module on to the moon.

Then on July 19th at 4:18 EST the two astronauts had landed on the moon. Then from the module a ladder was extended and Neil Armstrong exited the module and said to the world "one small step
for man--one giant leap for mankind." Buzz Aldrin was not long behind Armstrong steping on to the moon and they walked on the moon and planted the american flag to mark the occasion. Lunar
Samples were then collect for testing and the astronauts set up scientific experiments.

On the next day the two astronauts blasted off the moon service to meet up with the command
module, and then made there way back to earth for a landing in the ocean on 24th July 1969.
