Antics have included everything from kidnapping to international espoionage. While visiting a New Jersy elementary school on 15 Jube 1992, former Vice-President Dan Quayle corrected a young student's spelling of the word 'potato' by adding an 'e' to the end of it, only to find he was completely wrong. The opening credits of the 25 June episode of The Simpsons featured Bart, as always, writing a single phrase over and over again on the school blackboard as punishment for some misdemeanor or other. This time Bart was writing " Potato, not potatoe." The Simpsons rewards for paying attention. Here's Bart's top 17 punishment lines:
