Tropical Storm Fabian:

On October 7th, Tropical Depression 7 was named SE of Bermuda which is fairly far north for October. This tropical depression strengtened to a 45 mph tropical storm. As it rapidly moved east, he rapidly beame extratropical after only 6 advisories. Fabian never affected any land and was a very disorganized system as illustrated in the satellite shot above. Shear was extremely strong. The wave that became Fabian had moved WNW until it reached Puerto Rico and began moving NE. The NHC stated that Fabian had probably been a tropical depression days before it was actually classified.
