Michael Wolfgang
Arrived in Philadelphia aboard the ship St. Andrew which landed October 7,1743. His age at
this time was 23 years. He married Charlet Margretta Kopp who had arrived in Philadelphia
October 28,1738 at the age of 6. The other members of her family were: her father Samuel
Eberhart Kopp age 36, her mother Anna Catherina age 40,and siblings Philip Christopher 10,
Margret 8, Marel 8, and Loadwich 4. Their ship was the Billender Thistle from Rotterdam.

Charlet had three children. Both Michael and Charlet died in 1760 leaving minor children.
Record in the court house in Easton, PA tell of the court appointing guardians for
the three children. One of the children was named Michael Wolfgang, Jr.
Michael Wolfgang, Jr. Married Christina Weaver. There is an abstract of a will which was recorded at the Northampton County Court House when Lehigh County was still a part of Northampton for an Erhart Weaver. This will was written November 18, 1780 and recorded for probate on May 14,1795. Erhart Weaver lived in Upper Saucon Township, Northampton County. He was Survived by his wife Magdalena. His children were George Adam, Jonas (obviously the two oldest sons who also served as executors), Margaret(wife of Conrad Rene), Elias, Christina(wife of Michael),Elizabeth(wife of Martin Rishel),Magdelena(wife if Diderig Danner), Henry and Sophia Catherine(late wife of Danial Springer). Michael was in the Revolutionary War first as a Private 5th Class, later reinlisted as a Corporal 1780-1783. Any of his decendants are eligible to join the Sons or Daughters of the American Revolution #8446 or The Pennsylvania Society of Sons of the American Revolution #53. The Wolfgang name is registered in the above name society by Raymond Charles Wolfgang.

Eldred Township, Northumberland County. Jacob's first wife was Catharine, they had 8
children, she died sometime after 1825.
Emanuel Wolfgang
Born February 16, 1845. Married Amelia Mattern, Born September 23, 1845, Schuylkill
County, PA. They had 10 children. Emanuel died September 5, 1931 Ashland, Schuylkill
County, PA. Amelia died November 22, 1922 Lavell, Schuylkill County, PA.
