This is the maiden voyage of our Transwing boost glider. It boosts under
rocket power, up to 900' altitude, although ours only went about a third
of that. At apogee, the glider seperates from the booster, and the wings
swing into flight position. The glider portion then begins a slow, circular
glide, while the booster returns with a streamer to slow its descent. It
was a pretty neat flight! (The rocket on the single lauch pad next to the
Transwing is the Maxi Alpha 3, awaiting its turn...)

If you look really, really close, you can make out the Transwing glider
as it makes its way towards Joseph.
