* - Put return address sticker on each disposable camera. Use the self-stickum kind that you usually put on snail-mail (if you don't have any, your Mom will). Likewise, when you grab YOUR disposable camera, before you start clicking away, look for YOUR sticker.

* - Optional. Young ladies will feel left out if they don't get to do the "Dress-Up" thing". Young men usually have to be forced into it, but the teenaged ones quickly change their mind when the young ladies begin to notice (and THEY WILL)!
** - To prevent/reduce wrinkles for hanging clothes, try this. Cover each hanging item with a plastic garment bag from the dry cleaners. It really works!
*** - Casual Slacks - For the young ladies pack pedal pushers/capris. For the guys, something along the line of khakis or dockers (NOT jeans - they're too hot).
**** - Nylon slip-on shoes with a tough rubber sole. Invaluable for skin/scuba divers, or anyone who may walk in the surf. That said, please remember coral is a living organism and is extremely delicate. For the safety of yourself, the living reef and our fragile ecology DO NOT TOUCH or STEP on coral! The surf shoes are recommended ONLY for beaches without living coral.
Two Way Radios - Something fairly new on the market. They run about $80 per set. These are a really cool way for Mom & Dad to keep in touch with you (and you with them) without either of you appearing to check up on the other. Especially good for when you are separated on the ship and need to get together. On our last cruise, I watched the porpoises escort us out of harbor, but had no idea where SunFlower was. As a result, she missed them!
Rain gear - Have the folks pick these up at the local sports or hunting supply store. Ask for the pocket sized raincoat. They come in a little package about 3"x 4" and only cost around 87 cents, and are great for those sudden downpours. They take up very little room and can fit in your fanny-pack.
Nightlight - Nightlights are NOT just for old folks and little babies afraid of the dark. Let's face it, the cabin will be unfamiliar and probably more than a little crowded. Plus, if you have an interior cabin, it is going to be REALLY DARK once the lights are off! Guys can get away with Band-Aids ® on their shins, bumps and bruises just don't coordinate very well with young lady's evening wear.
