Snowflake Scrunchie

Materials: Elastic pony tail holder,small amount glitter yarn and hook you are comfortable with

Stitches used :sl st,ch,sc,dc,dtr.

Instructions:

Join with sl st into the pony tail elastic. And work even number of sc around. Join to beg sc.

This need not be a full scrunchie. So just put in that many sc that would fit.

Rnd 1 : ch5, *skip next sc , dc in next sc,ch2. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st to 3rd ch

Of beg ch5.

Rnd 2: ch3,sl st in 1st ch(picot made),ch2,dtr in front loop of skipped sc,ch3,sl st on top of dtr

Just made(crown picot),ch5 sl st in 3rd ch from the hook,sl st on the next dc. Work

(Picot in the same dc ,dtr,crown picot,ch5 cl st in 3rd ch from hook sl st on next dc.) around.

Join with sl st to 3rd ch of beg ch5 of previous round.

Finish off and weave in the ends.

Notes:

DTR: yo 3 times ,insert hook in st indicated ,pull up a loop, (yo ,pull through 2 loops )4 times.

Model made with needlecraft plastic canvas cord. I used about 15 yds.
