On Saturday, September 25, 1999, many hearts were saddened all around the world. For on that fateful day, a dear sister to so many passed away at the Southern Comfort Conference (SCC) in Atlanta, Georgia. In her newfound gender exploration she was having the time of her life. Her joy and love for life was so immense that everyone she met was touched.
For weeks she was so excited about wearing her new "Southern Belle" dress that evening, something that wasn’t meant to be. But to be saddened by this alone wouldn’t do her justice… for she truly was ecstaticly happy at her time of departure.
Someone this wonderful, so loving and giving, with a zest for life unmatched, cannot and must not be forgotten. Her spirit continues to live amongst us, and it is here we eternally share her with the world honoring the wishes of her equally loving and charming wife.
Barbara’s web site has been re-created here for all to be inspired and enjoy. It is presented just as Barbara designed it, with only minor changes to satisfy web requirements. At the bottom of every page, we have also added a link to a “site map” so that you can ensure that you have visited each and every joyous page that Barbara has to share.
Thank you Barbara, for bringing a smile to each one of us that you have touched!
