The transmission
on the Odyssey is designed to provide lots of torque when needed. This
works excellent for towing. Trailer hitches were options on Odyssey's back
when they were sold but are unavailable from Honda now. A class 1 bumper
hitch will work just fine. My Odyssey is equiped with a heavy duty hitch
that mounts to the length of the rear frame (check out the picture pages).
I can easily tow a total weight of 1000 lbs including trailer and I have
done it on many occasions
