cool 'runner bro. i also have a '95 limited which for now is my primary "family car" but in the next 2-4 yaers, i fully intend to retire it into a trail rig. the only mods so far are removal of power antenna (compliments of a tree limb) replaced by a mast model and removal of those damn running boards. a lift and 33" tires will begin my transformation. i also plan to de-chrome the whole thing which will involve replacing both bumpers, i really like your front bull bar, if you know of any cool options for t e rear please e-mail me i am new to this game. cool ride, thanks for the great page!!!

I appreciate your reply to my question about headers on my 4 runner. Headers were a massive improvement on my cruizer. I was hoping that the same would be so on the runner. I also have a weird noise in my runner. It sounds like a diesel mostly at an i le but is still there under load. The engine had been completely overhauled just before I got it. I wonder if the chain followers were not replaced?? I think it is the chain rattling?? I would sure like to get rid of the silly noise which preceeds me. ny advise?? Thanks dg

Thanks for replying to my question about the TJM and ARB bumper/bull bar. Your 4Runner looks awesome. Thanks for the picture. The ARB looks like an awesome bull bar. I didn't know it could withstand a 90 degree angle winch pull or that it bolts onto t e frame without brackets. I called 4WPW and asked them about their ARB bull bars. They quoted me a price of $720, including tax - they don't charge for shipping. I didn't realize how expensive it was, but maybe that's why it's such a high quality bull ar. I then asked them about the TJM T-17 steel bumper, and they quoted me a price of about $450, plus another $100 for overseas shipping. They said it would take several months for the TJM bumper to arrive from Australia. Thanks again for your help and happy trails.

My 4runner has an air locker w/4.56's, Marlin Crawler, 31'Swampers, Con-fer roof rack, 6 round kc lights, RMOR custom pre runner bumpers w/spare tire, Cd player, amp, new paint, sharp. I've done lots of wheeling in Moab and Grand Junction CO(21 road is a killer). I am currently working on my 85 ex-cab truck. I got it for $1000 with a recently rebuilt motor. I've put 5' alcan springs on it with a 2' body lift, the rear spring mount was moved forward 5' to allow for more droop, 2' con-fer shackles, dual hocks at all four corners, Rear axel from an 86, 5.29's, Detroit rear, ARB front, ultimate crawler, and 35' BFG muds. It should be ready to wheel by Christmas.
