Trip Pictures

The 2004 band trip to New Orleans was a great success. Both bands scored twos on their performances giving them excellent ratings. The ride down was fun. We spent the afternoon at Jackson Square listening to Jazz music on every street corner. The groups split up to explore. We saw music, monuments, masks and more. On Friday, it rained, and rained but we went to the Aquarium where we got to see a cool 3D Imax movie (the turtle and dolphin swam right out of the screen at us). Then we went into the actual aquarium and saw real turtles and fish. The competition was Friday afternoon at a college. A reward for a job well done was a pizza and pool party when we got back to the hotel. It was cold in the water but we didn't care. Saturday, we went spent the whole day at Six Flags. It didn't rain much. We rode the Batman, the Joker, many other fun rides. In the evening we went to the awards ceremony in the theatre at the park. There were lots of people from other middle and high schools. It was awesome! Thanks Mr. Bouldin for a great trip!
