Installing Lights

I will try to give you the best tech info I can as it comes to me. If you have a tip you would like to share please E-mail it to me.

(SECT-3.1) INSTALLING LIGHTS Lights are a great way to see at night. I have KC lights and I am sure any kind will work, but I recommend Hella Rally 4000. Just 3 of these guys will do nicely. I have 2 165 watt lignts. They are pointed out in front of my car, but I still cant see to the sides. So its hard to drive fast around corners. For this I recommend fog lights. You can always get 2 more lights for up front and point them out at an angle for a larger field of vision. Don't make the same mistake as me and put the lights on your roof. When ever a car kicks up dust the lights shine right through it blinding you. Even when theirs no other cars they produce bad glair. I dont know if its just my car but, the stock head lights suck. I replaced them with hallogen lignts(still legal).

When putting bigger front tires on I had to move the lights up and reduce the size from 7" to 6". I bought 100w KC lights. This setup is not street legal but they sell street legal bulbs that fit right in.

LOCATION

As I said before avoid putting lights on the roof. The first time I took my car off-road (just with the new lights turned on) immediately I noticed this set up works better than my 165w lights on the roof. Not only having no glare but lighting up the road about twice as well. This is the perfect location for lights. Try to put off-road lights on the front bumper (same effect). Because of my tilt front end I cant. Getting a bumper that sticks out further will fix this problem.
